Tuscany is considered as on of the most beautiful region of Italy, both for the cities of the art and for the beauties of the nature. In fact, few kilometres separate the sea, the mountains and the hills.
For example Lucca has an easy access to the most important cities as Firenze, Pisa, Siena etc. For those who love the nature and for walking enthusiasts it is an ideal tour base as are very close the roads which lead to Garfagnana and to the mountains of the Alps Apuani.

The ones who love the sea can choose amongst the numerous beaches offered by the Tuscan coast.
Who prefers the beach provided of facilities, shops and nighttime entertainment can visit Versiglia, a place absolutely full of life, with discos, pubs, restaurants.

Those who love art can’t miss a visit of Firenze, a unique historical city world famous for its artists;  Pisa and the Leaning Tower and Siena, the city in the heart of Tuscany surrounded by the beautiful hills.

Naturally we can’t forget about Lucca, a medieval country characterized by its walls what defended during the centuries against the attacks by Pisa. The city is not too large but it’s very fascinating, one can go for a walk on the walls (today a spectacular park) or in the center between tight streets, famous churches and towers (for example tower Guinigi) and every kind of shops.

The zone of Garfagnana with its paths is ideal for riding bicycle and for expert mountain climbers. There are numerous shelters as well for breaks and for rest.
One of the most popular destinations is the peak of Pania della Croce. During the winter there are many possibilities for ski from the beginner to the expert.
